An average day on Kankonia

It is 4:48 -- 48 kinkiles out of 64 between the fourth lami and the fifth lami -- at a stucco house in Möbaitra, a neighborhood of Inguateti, a city in the continent of Povoi on Kankonia . . . and the sun is rising.

Grandmom Efva Ksaiheksos Manda (Efva Dysprosium Manda), who is 112 years old (103 in Earth-years) lets her blue dye set into her frizzy hair as she picks up a copy of Abspasthrohis na Povoi (Povoi Newsweekly). Her floral dress is covered with prints of Shaleyan flowers. Manda being an animal lover, her hazel eyes are intently perusing articles about duck migrations in Böbais and the hatching of a new clutch of pink-throated avanassa eggs at the Titoga Zoo.

Manda's daughter Pouva Borboph Lusisha (Pouva Selenium Lusisha), age 67 (61 in Earth-years), gets up at 5:03 after a night of sleeping naked. Lusisha combs her blonde bob and chats with Manda about last night's sleep and about how the house's bird-of-paradise flowers are growing. Lusisha's daughter Atva Shakuyaan Tina (Atva Hassium Tina), who is 5 years old, gets up in last night's blue sleeper and walks into her parents' bedroom. Tina's big brown eyes look at her naked mother and at Grandmom Manda, then Tina squeals with joy.

The squeals wake up Tina's father, Atna Atzatzan Mani (Atna Bromine Manny), age 69 (63 in Earth-years), who is in his boxer shorts and a white tank top. Manny hugs his daughter Tina with his brown arms, and then hugs his girlfriend Lusisha. Manny goes back to sleep within a matter of kinkiles.

Lusisha and Manny's son. Atva Tumusashan Zakh (Atva Rutherfordium Zach), who is 18 (16 in Earth-years), wakes up at a little past 5:32 -- half past the hour. He stumbles out of bed, wearing only his boxer shorts, and puts on some grey slacks and white kampajis -- a type of shoe from Tenta that have a snap on top.

Lusisha walks out to the dining room, where breakfast cereals are being eaten. Tina puts pieces of Phophi into her mouth, while Zach is munching on some Moyan na Tzimbano with his eyes closed. Lusisha eats a bunch of wild rice from the night before.

Meanwhile, in an arcology in Motebuas, another city in Povoi, Zach and Tina's sister, Atva Sabwel Dzhavendra (Atva Gallium Dzhavendra), who is 19 (17 in Earth-years) wakes up and showers. She is in the shower, with her eyes closed and a brown shower cap over her head. Afterwards, Dzhavendra gets out and pulls on a green sabelana -- a straight top that leaves her shoulders and arms exposed, reaching down to her thighs -- and some khakis and flip-flops. She pulls her curly black hair into a ponytail and puts blue eyeliner onto the eyelids of her brown eyes.

Back in the Atna-Pouva household, in the big bathroom, Lusisha is bathing Tina while Manny sits on the toilet to defecate and Zach finishes brushing his teeth. Zach is topless for the time being, as he does not want to get toothpaste on his shirt. Tina's curly brown hair is starting to look black with all the water in it.

Having washed all the toothpaste off his face, Zach goes back to his room. Zach pulls a green-and-blue-striped polo over his head and pats down his long, loose, messy brown hair, which hangs down over his blue eyes.

Dzhavendra calls her brother Zach on her cellphone, and Zach's own phone starts ringing. Zach picks up the phone and says, "Zaniken", which means, "Connected".

"Hi, Striped Polo Boy", says Dzhavendra with a smile.

"Hi, Dzhavendra", says Zach, smiling back. The conversation turns to life in Motebuas.

"So today I saw a guy on the subway hanging from the rail on the ceiling of the train", she tells Zach.

"Oh, that's so cool!", says Zach.

Zach and Dzhavendra keep chatting until Dzhavendra says, "Well, I've got to get to school". After the two say their good-byes, Dzhavendra picks up her hoverboard and makes her way out of her arcome, then out of the arcology.

Zach hangs up and spends some time with the parrot. The family's avian pet, Tzepu, a lehopa (blue and yellow parrot of the Tzelshas Islands), is perched on Zach's left shoulder, and eats pieces of fruit out his right hand, saying the Kankonian name of each one: itzang (mango), kopum (papaya), puish (guava), tzakava, dobushatz, hatufalpa, litumpa.

Tina being done with her bath, Manda dresses her in some khaki shorts and a mosaic top, with brown moccasins. On Tina's mosaic top, a patchwork of pieces of eabric, representing many different colors, are sewn together, with the seams and threads visible from the inside when Tina has it pulled over her head.

Tina walks outside, where there are children playing on their lawn pretending to be astronauts flying to Bikason and Lisseti; the Atna-Pouva household lets the children be children. "We'll never lifespeed Tina", says Manda firmly. "Toddlers don't need to become young adults in one year!" The children are native of Kankonian planeticity and some other human planeticities such as Shaleyan, Shanuvian, and Junsuvian. There are also a Bodusian little girl, who is a silvery-white Domehead and a Sarosian little boy, who is a lavender lef, with plates on his head.

At 6:11, Manny finally wakes back up puts on some khakis and a plaid flannel shirt. He then fits a felt hat over his curly black hair. "I better get going", he says. Manny takes a big self-driving van, which automatically orients itself onto the right side of the road. Manny programs the van so he can go to his job as a fishmonger; he starts out at the sustainable seafood farm in the city of Sapuigömu to buy fish and shellfish at wholesale prices.

The van then goes out to the marketplace in Inguateti. Manny pushes a big pallet with a selection of compartments: salmon, tilapia, pimplefish, sea bream, kudufish, lionfish, crayonfish, jatza, holosums, clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp, prawns, squid, octopus, valmets, bottle crabs, striped orange crabs, porcupine crabs, bicep crabs.

A young man rides up on a skateboard and asks for some pimplefish. Manny scoops out some of these fish covered with papuliferous warts, flopping into the paper bag he hands the boy. "Those'll be 30 pokhales", he says, and the young man hands Manny three imras.

A young woman cycles up and stops to get a selection of prawns, with squid and valmets.

"You know valmets can squirt three types of ink when they're living", Manny says of these mushroom-looking cephalopods. "Good thing they're dead."

"Yep", the girl says.

"You don't want to get ipos on you!", says Manny, referring to the clear, odorless ink that valmets use to stun prey.

"I'd rather have marai on me!", she says with a wry smile, referencing the brown ink that valmets use to attract mates.

While Manny is chatting with his shopper like this, a thief takes off with several clams. Manny turns his head just in time to see this crafty man running off with them.

"Ar zash hakuil heyapnoi!" (You slippery eel!), Manny shouts as he shakes his fist at the thief.

At home, Manda lets Tina get onto a laptop and connect to the PAIMO via the computer's modem. Manda types in the URL that takes them to the website for Ispuxa, a stuffed animal store on the planet Querre. Manda and Tina enjoy the aisleview, as Tina presses down on keys to "walk" down each aisle in the store through telepresence.

Manda and Tina look at some stuffies of nectarozoans from the planet of Querre in one aisle. "Those animals with the hooves and stripes and the horns that point right up -- those are zaltitls", Manda says to Tina.

"Zaltitls", says Tina.

"And the ones whose horns point right up too but are shorter and have that wool -- like a sheep or alpaca -- those are phanxas."

"Phanxas. What are these?" Tina points to a close-up on a strange monotreme nectarozoan with round lobes around its feet and a bulging, somewhat triangular head that was round at the side where the growth marks were.

"That's a mobotxe."

"Mobotxe."

"Do you want to look at animals like the ones we have on Kankonia?"

"Yeah."

"OK, let me scroll down, until we get to the human bioswath section", says Manda.

"I will be off", Lusisha tells Manda and Tina.

"Later!", says Manda.

"Later, Mom!", says Tina.

Lusisha goes naked to a class on Shaleyan spirituality. All she is wearing are a pair of marble-patterned flip-flops and the green towel she carries with her. She greets Kiwa Layuliboy, a young Shaleyan lady with a blonde Dido flip and blue eyes, who is leading the class. Kiwa is wearing a yellow yamila (a Shaleyan women's garment that resembles a toga) with brown polka dots. "Sado", says Kiwa, greeting her class in Shaleyan. "We're going to close our eyes."

Lusisha and the other people in her class close their eyes. Then Kiwa closes hers. "We're going to try to see the meshiya", says Kiwa. "The meshiya is the part of the spectrum you see with your eyes closed, and Shaleyans believe that that's the wavelength of Bahay. Kankonians call God 'Leho', we Shaleyans call God 'Bahay'."

"Bahay as bahai" (Bahay is up), says Tom, a man in the class, and the participants laugh. Tom is playing on the fact that the Shaleyan word "Bahay" is homophonous with the Kankonian word for "up".

Kiwa tells her class to focus on what they see with their eyes closed. "What does Bahay look like?"

"Bahay is green", says a man in her class named Adran. "Glowing plutonium green".

All the while, Dzhavendra is attending her classes at the Higher School at Motebuas, where she is majoring in geology with a minor in genetics and biochemistry. Dzhavendra talks with her professor, the bespectacled, dark-skinned, goateed Lano Laya Amaksas (Lano Helium Amaksas), before class.

"You know me", says Dzhavendra. "I'm a career girl who wants to climb out there and get that degree in geology! Then, I want to learn about the tectonic plates of all those unexplored planets! In the Lehola Galaxy, the Hyaiskindu Galaxy, beyond!"

"Hmishekh! Katapiy! Kandakis!", says Amaksas, with words of encouragement.

Once 90% of the class has settled, Amaksas begins. He types some words into his laptop, and soon a big screen in the room shows a panoramic view of a plain in northern Hegheos. "Now, this is the Denksteta", says the professor. "The Denkstetik period was named after the fossils they found here". The plain has modern grasses like whilgrass today, but once, Amaksas explains to his class, it had fossil animals like the first eurypterids on Kankonia, and also the first land plants. Eventually the topic of the lecture shifts to the bieberite deposits in northern Hegheosik caves.

Zach makes it to work, and displays his palm to his friends. They all display their palms at each other. Zach works with his uncle Atna Nuswateod Dark (Atna Tantalum Dark)'s at the sarotia (sarotu restaurant). Dark, a man with a soulpatch and beard, dressed in a black dress shirt and black corduroy jacket with blue slacks and sunglasses, sees his nephew to his job. Dark's curly black hair is in a somash, a hairstyle in which alternating columns of hair are shaven and unshaven. Zach never went to college after uhul welas (elementary school), because he was apprenticed to his sarotia job.

Zach takes a few looks at the orders from the servers, reading the handwriting for all the orders. The 32 letters of the Kankonian alphabet and 10 numerals can all start to look like each other after a while. Zach's friend, a boy in his twenties named Pita Kogilud Dani (Pita Lanthanum Danny), uses the cylinder cutter, and cuts the meats into hollow cylinders to make them into sarotus. Pork sarotus, wenschar sarotus, chicken sarotus, duck sarotus. Another friend of Zach's, a 20-year-old girl (18 in Earth-years) named Lape Gwupelin Phalia (Lape Indium Phalia), then stuffs the vegetables into these sarotus. Longbeans, asparagus, white avocado, water chestnuts, and the moderately spicy burgundy peppers known as fuzhians. Zach puts the some sarotus onto a tray, completing the order with kilpufa (breaded shrimp with coconut), as well as some tunnel cakes.

Zach's coworker Samara is putting out a bowl of tzakavas for sale. Prospective customers view these hot yellow fruits in the shape of a bunch of bubbles. One lad eats too many tzakavas and ends up puking on the carpet. Samara pages her coworker, a Hitan girl with a straight black bob and monolids named Zeziwazi, explaining to Zeziwazi that there's vomit to clean up.

Manda gets into a self-driving EV, and Tina comes with her; the two look at the scenery outside -- the convenience stores, EV stations, palm trees, other tropical plants of Povoi like sunfruit and mavesirangas, and even lifespeeding centers.

The EV stops as they reach their destination -- Mava's Groceries. Manda and Tina walk to the breakfast cereals. They walk past and look at the cereal selection: Maihus, a sugary cereal of squares of wheat; Oshung na *itziz, puffy rice; Kekh Galir, pebbles of rice cereal; Shref, made of oats with coconut and dried banana; Khif Shwatz, barley rings with dried strawberries, cherries, talmavras and poupus (a vwobiz from a kind of quont, or pollinating sea animal). Manda picks up some Duzhames na Netzitz, little trapezoids of maize mixed with dried sunfruit and hibitas; some Phophi, bacillus-shaped puffs of millet with sugar added; and some Moyan na Tzimbano, bran with dried dates added. They then walk past the sodas: Pabwis, Phwes Shaponess, Arsekhan, Shozha, Zeshsum Howei ginger ale, and Chopo imported from Tenta. At the produce section, Manda picks up fruit like bruzhus apples (a medium-size, sweet, cinnamon-colored apple variety), pineapples, mangoes, cucumber-shaped yellow lasangas, and dates. Tina feels the spiky outside of the pineapple in the shopping cart as she rides. Manda decides to pass up the Tzelshan food and Javarti food sections for today.

Dzhavendra attends her Tentan class that she takes to fulfill her extrakankonial language requirement, taught by Prof. Pipa Kipotaso-Kosa, a Tentan woman with wavy red hair, green eyes, and freckles. A poster of the Tentan girl group Bon Pein dots the wall. One boy in class is masturbating to pictures of attractive Tentan boys and girls in his copy of the class textbook.

Today the class is about imperatives. Pipa writes the inflection paradigms for the consonant endings in both Kankonian transliteration and the native Tentan syllabary. Popo (to give) becomes popisa (give!) Juno (to fight) becomes junsa (fight!) Vaito (to swim) becomes vaicha (swim!) Peso (to love) becomes pesa (love!) Gopwo (to fear) becomes gopusa (fear!) And so on. The professor asks how to say "Eat the candy" in Tentan, and Dzhavendra raises her hand. "Jetom vabisa", she says.

"That is correct", says Pipa. "Now, how would you say, 'Listen to the music'?"

"Motun wimsa", says a non-binary student named Sam.

"Imma jopa", says Pipa in Tentan. "Very good". After a while, the class moves on to prohibitives, such as Lafom domsanen for "Don't drink the poison".

At the marketplace where he has amassed lots of money from selling seafood, Manny notices his zikmaltak is not where he left it. He looks and asks all around, but no one seems to have seen it. Asking Ngavassa, a woman in her seventies with straight brown hair and blue eyes dressed in a red T-shirt and beige corduroy pants, to take over the duties for him, Manny makes an emergency ride home in his van.

Once he is home, Manny's fingers fiddle and he gets out his locator. He types in on the locator that he wants to find his zikmaltak. Luckily for Manny, he has tagged the zikmaltak for his locator some time ago. Manny's mouth flies open as he learns it is in somebody else's house. His zikmaltak has been stolen.

Manny gets in his van and drives up to a slim, sandy-haired man's house, where he sees the man listening to the zikmaltak in the garden.

"That's my zikmaltak!", Manny shouts accusingly at the sandy-haired man.

The man replies with "Yagel azid ar rehinen as yagel na ar", or "The gold that you found is your gold", a Kankonian expression that means "Finders keepers, losers weepers".

"Oh yeah?", asks Manny. "We'll just see about that." Manny gets out his cellphone and summons the Vigilante Squad, explaining the situation to them. A number of Vigilante Squadders teleport over and are soon at the house.

A large, dark-skinned man with a bald head walks out and leads the crew. "Hi, I'm Adze Stannum Kobi", he tells Manny. "You must be Manny".

"Yes."

They learn the man with Manny's zikmaltak's name is Zoni Aurelium Thekhas. Thekhas tells Manny and Kobi that he just saw it and didn't know it belonged to somebody; he thought its owner has deserted it when he saw the zikmaltak lying there.

Kobi's assistant Yani, a young woman with red hair in a topknot and a tattoos all over her body, then pulls out a brainreader, and demands Thekhas stop so they can plug the brainreader up to his head. The look on Thekhas' face is then absolutely horrified: Oh no, not the brainreader! Sweat pours from Thekhas' forehead as Yani uses the brainreader to see what Thekhas is really thinking. She wipes the sweat away with gauze so the machine will function without getting too wet.

Beeps sound off as the signals of his brain are translated into comprehensible Kankonian sentences. Yani and Kobi learn that Thekhas really did know the zikmaltak wasn't his. Having proven he was a thief, Kobi asks Manny, "So what do you want me to do to him?"

"The barbell!", shouts Manny.

Once the brainreader is taken off Thekhas' head to avoid damaging it (avoid damaging the brainreader, that is -- not Thekhas' head), Kobi and his companions begin banging a barbell on Thekhas' skull. "Ayi! Ayiiiii!", shouts Thekhas in pain.

At the house, Manda programs her self-driving car to get to Dr. Zhathe's office, and soon she and Tina are at the dentist's. Tina sees her pedodontist, a dreadlocked man named Phum Zhathe Kmestlobaran Arkhak (Dr. Zhathe Unbiquadium Rock), who greets Tina then as he looks into her mouth. After a few kinkiles of looking, Dr. Zhathe finds a cavity in one of Tina's bicuspids. "I'm going to give you a shot", Dr. Zhathe tells Tina, "But it won't hurt. That way your tooth can become whole again."

"OK", says Tina.

Dr. Zhathe disinfects the carious inside, then his dental assistant, a woman named Priya, distracts Tina with a stuffed octopus as Dr. Zhathe gives her an enamel shot in the bicuspid in question. Her tooth should regenerate within a few weeks -- a monti, tops.

Manda gets home in the car, and once it reaches its destination, it folds up like an egg. Meanwhile, it's pay time at Zach's iob. The sarotia has brought in a sum of 17,364 pokhales and 37 pikhides during the shift. Samara puts all the checks, coins, and currency into the changesplitter, to divide it among the 21 people who work there. Kankonian numerals appear on the screen as the screen reads, in red LCD, "17,364 pokhales and 37 pikhides divided by 21 equals 826 pokhales and 87 pikhides". There are now 21 piles, each with eight thianas, two imras, a tzadu, a pokhal, a sagi, three es-hes, a sotho, and two pikhides. Dark gives all the waiters and chefs, including himself, the choice to take the money home as is or get it as a check. Zach chooses the check.

After school, Dzhavendra calls her mother Lusisha, and talks about her relationship situation. Her ex-girlfriend Candy wanted to marry three other girls plus one boy, and now her current girlfriend Tiy wants to enter into a plural marriage as well but Dzhavendra wants to love only Tiy.

"I fully understand", says Lusisha. "Even though I'm straight, when I was your age, I knew I wanted only one boyfriend, and to end up with only one man to live with and have kids with. And your dad, Manny, answered my dream. He came to live in my house with your Grandmom Manda and me. If Tiy is having dreams of a permanent relationship with people besides you, you're going to have to choose. Do you want Tiy more? Or do you want loving one person only more?"

"I don't even want to get married, to be honest", says Dzhavendra. "And now Tiy says she wants to marry me, and then it's all 'the more, the merrier' later on. She has a future with lots of other ladies in her sights."

"Tiy isn't dating anyone but you now if I remember correctly", says Lusisha. "Right?"

"Right."

The conversation continues until the two finish talking . . . and then Lusisha can make it to her class on Bodusian spirituality.

The class is headed by Imaron Lewa, an old Bodusian man, who has light blue skin with hot pink stripes running across the back and to the sides of the front of his legs, arms, abdomen and head. He has indigo eyes and yellow lips. He wears white slacks and is topless. There are Domeheads, humans, Greys, añaks, and more.

"Today we all going to talk about the third of the Four Divine Relationships", Imaron says. "The first is the relationship between any two Bodusians within the same household. The second is the harmony among all Bodusians. And the third, which we'll be discussing today, is the harmony among all life. That includes Bodusians and other Domeheads, but also people who aren't Domeheads. On Kankonia, here, most people are humans. And you know, I've gotten used to being in the minority in terms of tyashus. Look at all the tyashas here; we have humans like Lusisha and Rapa, we have Greys like Gamma, añaks like Kesitla . . . even a lef and a homa and a chais. It also means respecting animals and plants, on Bodus and beyond. The coconut palm, the pretty lewa, the oyas with its venomous whiskers, the rokos with its plates, the jumping cricket, the enormous whale, the noble tiger."

After a lami and a half has elapsed, Lusisha goes home, where she had synchronized her hometime with her boyfriend over their cellphones so they could eat the extra salmon and bicep crab that Manny had brought home from his job. Manny tells Lusisha about getting his zikmaltak stolen, and Lusisha talks and thinks about "respecting" the salmon and crabs that had sacrificed their lives so they could eat. Manda explains to them that Tina has already eaten.

All the while, Zach goes down to the shopping center, near the dormitorium, and takes out his zikmaltak. He has programmed it with the nickname he gave it, "Zakhmaltak". Zach thinks he is so clever for coming up with that name for it. Zach pulls out the zikchan, which has goes into a higher dimension when inside to save space, and brings it back into the first four dimensions, so he can type on it. He decides to listen to something squefil, since it's vibrant and danceable; Zach then puts on Rutzis Ipemba, a squefil band. Zach puts his headphones over his ears and stands with his eyes closed, bobbing his head to this Durbenian band.

While he is listening to his zikmaltak with his eyes closed, Zach feels a tap on his shoulder. He opens his eyes to see a girl with wavy black hair in a ponytail, brown eyes, an eyebrow ring, a black catsuit, and lavender platform shoes. A smile grows across Zach's freckled face.

"You have excellent taste in music, boy", she says. "You like squefil too?", Zach asks.

"Yep!"

"Cool."

"Hello, my name is Waev Ytterbium Lily", the lass says. "What's your name?"

"Hi, I'm Atva Rutherfordium Zach", the lad introduces himself. "I'm a quarter Disque. It's on my mother's side. No wonder I like squefil so much. Disque + efil" ("efil" being the Kankonian word for "dance").

After talking some more and becoming fast friends, Lily and Zach decide to go to a dormitorium since they admit they're both feeling draggy by now and haven't slept since this morning. They find a dormitorium in the shopping center. Zach and Lily scale the blue ziggurat of mattresses and go all the way to the top! They decide to record their dreams with the dreamcorders openly available for use at the dormitorium.

Meanwhile, Dzhavendra and her girlfriend Ashga Hezokhes Tiy (Ashga Polonium Tiy) attend a club in Motebuas. Tiy has a brown ponytail and brown eyes, and is wearing a plain white T-shirt with a black puffer jacket, black yoga pants, sunglasses, and green shoes made of jwana, the green, canvas-like fiber from the Junsuvian plant known as the abalini. The videogram at the club is playing the music video for "Freaky like This", a song by the electronica band Moyanteshpelt. Dzhavendra closes her eyes and sings along with the song.

"You know the words, don't you", asks Tiy.

"Very well!", replies Dzhavendra.

Dzhavendra and Tiy do dances from the ankle-clicking beksha to the Bodusian shege on the ground. Strobe lights flash on and off.

Back at home, Manda does sudokus to keep her brain sharp. She is about to erase a 4 with her pencil when she notices Tina looking tired. Lusisha puts Tina to sleep, improvising a bedtime story about unicorns and ptorts.

After Tina has fallen asleep in her own bed, Lusisha, still in the nude, tells the household she will be off to a sauna. When she enters the sauna, almost everyone is naked. The group leans towards the older, with a number of centenarians, bicentenarians, and tricentenarians. The group talks about the state of the economy; clearly the current inamlaiketis is doing a good job at regulating the pace of minting, as there is no inflation. Lusisha also talks about Tina, her two teen-age children, Manny, Manda, and Dark.

Manny goes off to a cerebral reality center in the city of Zaigrateti. He teams up with a bunch of people there and they select to have an adventure in their collective minds. Manny and four other people get into the puntchair and tie themselves up to their dreamstreams. The metecheidon, or shared vision, that they have chosen for this session is a story about a bapra -- the monster with five-part radial symmetry that lived in the sands of Povoi in the old legends. Manny chooses to be the bapra itself. Lakwita chooses to be an amazonian warrior who is living in the overworld. The metpump starts to provide the drug metechin to the participants' brains, and before they know it, the area has become a dreamfield. In the dreamfield, Manny looks just like a bapra, while Lakwita looks like herself. Manny actually feels the quicksand around him, but he relaxes, because he knows intellectually that in reality he's safe. Lakwita appears to be swallowed by the bapra, and she soon appears to be in the underworld. She meets Montas, who is playing an underworld spirit, and Amira, a banished soul. Due to the metechin they are ingesting, they actually see a chthonic setting around them, although in reality, they are just sitting in a chair.

When the CR meeting ends, Manny and the other CR participants say their good-byes, and Manny programs the van to take him home. Manny's glad he doesn't have to drive after his brain has been pumped with metechin. He greets Lusisha as he gets home and they fall asleep for the night.

At the dormitorium, Lily and Zach are sleeping. Lily dreams that she's on a deserted beach with a donkey, and she is walking so slowly to try to get to the donkey so she can ride it. Zach dreams that he's on a road and has to drive the car by himself to swerve around the hills, then a talking squirrel starts to yell at him once the car crashes into the trees. Lily and Zach wake up and watch each other's dreams played. They give each other their cellphone numbers and Zach takes the subway home.

When Zach gets to the front door of his house in Möbaitra, he sees Manda. Manda talks with Tzepu. Tzepu imitates the sound of Tina snoring, which makes Manda laugh. Zach unsnaps his kampajis and crashes on his bed, with his striped polo still on.

Meanwhile, Dzhavendra and Tiy enter an arcology in Motebuas. Tiy types in the code for her own arcome, and the two girls enter her arcome for some super sex. Dzhavendra gets out her dental dam from her zylon bag and then tells Tiy, "Uhwet ad hales!" (Go to all!), a Kankonian expression that means "Go to town!"

Outside the arcology, a drunken and stoned man with scabies and a big black beard and sunglasses tries to enter his arcome. Unfortunately, his brain is too fried from stenza and popana for him to remember the code. He ambles back out onto the ground outside the arcology and empties his bladder onto the needles of the arathana bush.
